Our Initiatives
In 2020, United Way began focusing our work on young children and their families in our local community. This focus required United Way to develop new approaches to create real change.
United Way has been largely known as a funder, providing grants and financial support to organizations in need. To have a real impact on young children and their families, we realized that fundraising and grants weren’t going to be enough. United Way needed to change.
Caring United
When families go through trying times, a strong community should be there to help. Caring United rallies around the most vulnerable in our community, finding creative solutions that engage community members. Simply put, it’s a way we can actively care for one another.
