United Way invites you to explore how we can build a better future for our children. SPOTLIGHT gathers leaders from across Indiana to share big ideas about how communities can do great things for their children. A ‘TED-Talks’ framework will highlight exciting new data, trends and techniques.
SPOTLIGHT Speakers
- Indiana Youth Institute – Clint Kugler, Vice President of Statewide Engagement, will lead a discussion about data trends of Hoosier children from the new 2025 KIDS COUNT Data Book.
- Playworks – Abby Roach, Indiana Partnership Manager, will walk us through creating play environments where every child can learn to make friends, solve problems, and believe in themselves.
- Self-Healing Communities – Velshonna Luckey, President, will share research about the neuroscience of trauma and human resilience, including strategies to help every community member play a role caring for those who are struggling.

- Cost – $30 per person, including a boxed lunch from One Ten.
